Anthony A. Valenza, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into rest on February 2, 2024.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Angelo and Vera (Preston) Valenza.

Anthony was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, graduating from LaSalle Sr. High School.  Anthony started his career working in his father's barber shop, where they shared so many fond memories and stories and his kindness was felt by all who knew him.  On November 7, 1970, he married Karen A. (Banach) Valenza at Holy Trinity Church.  Anthony and Karen enjoyed 45 beautiful years together until her passing on April 14, 2015.

Anthony spent most of his adult life employed as a Millwright at Occidental Chemical Corporation.  He enjoyed travelling, frequenting the casino, and spending time with his family and friends, especially at his favorite hangout, Judi's Lounge.  Above all, his biggest highlight was to spend time with his grandson, Jacob.

Anthony is survived by his children, Deanna Valenza Smith and Anthony Valenza, who treasured him deeply as a father; his beloved grandson, Jacob Smith; his sisters, Anita Clark (Emilio Salciccioli) and Kathy (Larry) Nicolette; his sister-in-law, Bonnie (Carl) LaMacchia and brother-in-law, Michael (Pam) Banach III; his loving companion, Kathy Eliasz, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Valenza.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 7 PM.  Private entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, will be held for the family.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
