Antoinette "Toni" (Alongi) Marino, 85, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Saturday August 28, 2010 at Northgate Manor in Wheatfield, NY. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucia (Princevalle) Alongi.

Toni was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. On April 1, 1948 she married Louis A. Marino in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Marino predeceased her on May 4, 2007. Toni enjoyed cooking and baking, but most importantly taking care of her family.

Mrs. Marino is survived by her three children Becky (Richard) Marino of Town of Niagara, NY, LuAnn Conte of Euless, TX, and Charleen (Paul) DeWeen of Beech Island, SC; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother Sam (Connie) Alongi of Buffalo, NY, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Toni was predeceased by four sisters Angelina DiStefano, Mary Moro, Josephine (late Russell) Vaccarella, Carmella Markette, and two brothers Louis Alongi and Vito (late Mary) Alongi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday 3 – 8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral service will begin on Friday September 3rd at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
