Antonino J. 'Anthony' Certo, 88, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on April 24, 2025, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Francesco and Annamaria (Antonuccio) Certo.

Tony married Patricia A. (Whisker) Certo on July 6, 1957, in Niagara Falls, NY.  He was employed for over 30 years as a Laborer with Local #91, working for Sevenson Environmental in Niagara Falls, NY until his retirement in 1993.  An avid outdoorsman, Tony loved to hunt and fish.  Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

In addition to his wife of 67 years, Tony is survived by his children, Anthony D. (Sharon) Certo, James R. (Kathleen) Certo, Elizabeth C. (Brian) Anthony, and Christina C. (Thomas) Wendt; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; his sister, Fran Certo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was sadly predeceased by his son, John R. Certo, and his siblings, Dominic Certo, Bessie Volpe, Annamaria Iamarino, and Frank Certo.
