Antonio "Tony" Agnello, 93, of Lewiston, NY, and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10 ^th , 2017 at his residence. Born in Grotte, Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Dino and Alphonsa (Bruccolleri) Agnello.

Tony married his beloved wife, Maria (Morreale) Agnello, in 1951 in Italy. He was employed at the former Great Lakes Carbon Company in Niagara Falls for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Agnello is survived by his children, Richard D. Agnello and Gregory Agnello. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters in Italy, including Angelo Agnello of Italy and Teresa Morreale of California.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14 ^th from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Thursday at 11:15 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
