Antonio Fracassi, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in the Province of Compobosso, Limosano, Italy he was the son of the late Nicola and Maria (Bonadie) Fracassi.

Antonio was educated in Italy. On March 6, 1946 he married Luigella (Greco) Fracassi in Italy. He moved to the United States on June 1, 1954. Mrs. Fracassi predeceased him on September 24, 2008. He was employed at TAM Ceramics in Niagara Falls for thirty five years. His favorite pastime was going hunting in Hornell, NY with his co-workers, and tending to his garden, especially his grapes. His family would like to thank their friends Cheryl and Tim Azzinaro for the special care given to Antonio.

Antonio is survived by three daughters Angelina (Fortunato) Occhialini of Pt. Colborne, Ontario, Canada, Rosemary (George) Fox of Rome, NY and Bianca "Margaret" (John) Quester of Hilton, NY; eight grandchildren John Occhialini, Stefania (Tony) Santarella, Nicholas (Sarah) Fox, Kristina (Dave) Teriele, Amanda Fox, Lisa (Jason) Bannon, Julie (Kevin) Nicholas and John (Candace) Quester, II; nine great grandchildren Isabella, Gianna, Colton, Piper, Jenna, Nick, Cooper, Cori and Sara and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother Angelo Fracassi.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will begin on Monday September 19th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph parish, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301 or to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, 5285 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY 14092.
