Antonio Tallarico, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Francesco and Maria (Gagliardi) Tallarico; and beloved husband of the late Caterina (Rotella) Tallarico, who passed away on November 11, 2019, after 63 memorable years together.

Antonio was raised in Italy and immigrated to the United States in the 1960's with his wife and daughter. He was employed by Laborer's Local 91 as a general laborer for many years until his retirement in 1987. Antonio enjoyed tending to his garden and walking his dogs throughout the city. Above all, he was a devoted family man who especially loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Antonio is survived by his loving children, Dominick L. (Mary) Tallarico, Francesco A. Tallarico, Mariannina Bond, and was predeceased by one infant daughter, Emma Tallarico. He will be deeply missed by his beloved grandchildren, Dominick F., Donald, Kathy, Gina, and was predeceased by one grandson, Antonio Tallarico. He also will be missed by his cherished great-grandchildren, Athena, Angelina, Angelo, Mia, Mark, and Max Jr.; his brother Liborio (late Rosina) Tallarico, as well as many siblings in Italy; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 23 from 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Antonio's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
