Arthur Ray Porter, 76, of Niagara Falls, New York, passed away on June 21, 2017 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born on May 3, 1941, in Georgiana, Alabama, the son of the late Hurshel and Alberta (Grace) Porter.  He was predeceased by his wife Elaine.  Arthur retired from Carborundum in Niagara Falls, NY. He enjoyed fishing, entertainment, and Fashion.

Arthur is survived by his daughter Valerie Finklea-Brown, his grandson Christian Brown.  Also by four sisters, Dorothine (Richard) Hill, Elise Overton, Louise (Elbert) Nalls and Laura Porter. He was predeceased by his brother Ernest (Late Annie Mae) Porter.

In addition, he was the devoted uncle of Richard Hill Jr. Also a dear friend to David Matthews, Jean Grooms, Barron Hall, Huley Walker, Eddie Ashley, and was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday June 28, 2017 from 11AM to 12 Noon at M.J.Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel 2730 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY, where a funeral service will take place at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls NY.
