Arthurene 'Rena' (Moore) Parrilla, 56, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY after a lengthly illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Arthur Moore, Jr. and Emma Mae (Cox) Rios and step daughter to who she called "Dad" Gilberto O. Rios.

Rena as she was known to everyone was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. She also attended Kelly Business Institution in Niagara Falls, NY where she earned an Associate's Degree in Administration. Rena was formerly employed by Niagara Falls Coach Lines. She was a member of Bethlehem Revival Temple in Niagara Falls, NY. Rena enjoyed reading, playing cards, listening to music and having conversations with other individuals. She also liked to play basketball and swim, but Rena's greatest pleasure was spending time with her Grandchildren, family and friends.

Rena is survived by her husband Edwin Parrilla who she married on July 6, 2013. She is also survived by two children Nicole (Jason) Masterman and Jose (Roseanna) Cruz, Jr.; three step children Carmelita (Morris) Shavers, Brandon Parrilla and Edwin Parrilla, Jr.; five grandchildren Jonita Greenaurd, Jose Cruz, III, Vianca Ayala, Faithe Cruz and Ramses Masterman, several step grandchildren, ten siblings Annette (German) Mercado, Anitha (Jesus, Sr.) Ubiles, Tony (Delois) Moore, Stanley Moore, Sr., John Moore, Janice (Johnny) Barnes, Harry Moore, Nadine Moore, Belinda (Nate) Vanderberg and Jason (Celis) Rios, Sr.; her Godchildren: Chaqua Bembo, RaKeem Hamilton, Elexie Rios and several nieces and nephews. Special nieces: Maria Ubiles and Tere Moore. Longtime Friends Elaine Montagna and Sherelle Bitting. She was predeceased by two daughters Sheila Burnett and Jennifer Cruz and one Goddaughter Charmaine Moore.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 26th from 11 a.m. – 12 noon
at the Bethlehem Revival Temple, 2010 Virginia Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY followed by a funeral service at 12 noon with Bishop-Elect Evelyn Palmer officiating.
