Ashley Marie Bugay Khan, 28, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Monday December 12, 2011 at her residence, while under the care of Niagara Hospice and her family; following a two year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the cherished daughter of Jodi (nee Williams) (late Ronald) Parker and Thomas Bugay.

Ashley attended local schools and worked as teller for First Niagara Bank in Niagara Falls, NY. In her leisure, she enjoyed dancing and was an avid shopper. Ashley loved spending time with her family and many friends. She loved to laugh and had an unforgettable personality. A generous person, she would do anything for anyone, and will be remembered for a smile that would light up the room. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

Ashley was the beloved wife of Rizwan Khan, and devoted mother of Miranda Bugay-Dixon. In addition to her husband, daughter, and parents, she is survived by her two sisters Regina Bugay and Janice Bugay of Niagara Falls, NY; three step-sisters Tina Parker, Jillian L. Campbell both of Niagara Falls, NY, and Katie L. (Jake) Smeal of North Carolina. She was the granddaughter of Janice (late Robert) Williams of Niagara Falls, NY; daughter-in-law of Shahjehn Khan, and aunt of Michael Mountain and Karissa DeLong. Ashley is also survived by her aunt, Mary (Richard) Keller; uncles, Ron Williams and Robert Williams; cousin and dear friend Rhonda (Ryan) Taylor; cousin Jessica Williams, and many other cousins. She also is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins of the Bugay family. Ashley will be missed by her many friends, especially dear friends Diana May, Becky Reisch, Lisa Robinson; a special thank you to Shannon Fuller for her "little shining star".


Visitation will be Thursday 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will immediately follow the visitation at 7:00 PM with Rev. Denise Metzger, officiating. Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will be held at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorials may be directed to the family to be used for a fund to be established for Ashley's daughter, Miranda.
