Barbara A. (Scrivano) Bobby, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Louis and Eleanor (Finley) Scrivano.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Barbara went on to attend the University of Buffalo where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education, and Niagara University earning a Master's Degree in Business Administration. On April 20, 1985 she married Ronald P. Bobby in Niagara Falls, NY. Barbara was employed as a Business Teacher by the Niagara Falls Board of Education until her retirement in 1992. She had a love for music and playing the guitar and piano which she also taught. In her leisure time she also enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and traveling.

In addition to her husband of twenty six years, Barbara is also survived by one sister Susan (Daniel) Ishman of Lewiston, NY; one step son Ronald P. (Michelle) Bobby II of Tennessee, three step-grandchildren, Crystal (James) King, Ashley (fiancé David Tharp) Bobby and Ronald P. Bobby III; three step-great-grandchildren, Hayden King, Conner King and Dominic Tharp; three nephews David Ishman, Paul Ishman and Darren Ishman and several cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday from 6 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where private funeral services will be held with Rev. Seweryn Koszyk officiating. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Lewiston, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the Annual "Charity Chinese Auction" for Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation which will be held on October 1, 2011 at the American Legion Post 1664, 752 East Market St. Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
