Barbara Carminati, 84, of Sanborn, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2022 at her residence.

Barb was born and raised in Niagara County. She married William D. 'Bucky' Carminati, Sr. on March 20, 1976. Together they managed Willowbrook Golf Course in Lockport, NY until their retirement. They were also original shareholders of the golf course and lived on the 17 ^th hole for several years. Bucky predeceased her on February 18, 2002.

In addition to the golf course, Barb also served as a waitress at the former Gordy's Corner in Niagara Falls, as well as the Niagara Falls International Airport. She was a longtime member of the American Legion and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Otilio 'Joe' Cartagena (Laurel Foniciello) and Jose Manuel Cartagena; and her grandchildren, Megan Cartagena, Sarah Cartagena, Manny Cartagena, Jr. and Nick Cartagena. She was predeceased by one brother.
