Barbara M. Marcolini, 83, of Wheatfield, NY passed away peacefully in the presence of her family, on February 22, 2026, at Schoelkopf Health Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marie (Valery) Calandrelli.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On September 17, 1966, she married John Marcolini in Niagara Falls.
She was employed by several Dr. offices as well as the Niagara County Board of Elections. Her most cherished job was raising her two children. She loved volunteering at her children's schools and was a member of the Elks club. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her homemade pizza and Italian wine cookies.

Mrs. Marcolini is survived by her two children Susan (Chad) Marcolini-Sydorowicz of Niagara Falls, NY and John (Angela Cerrone) Marcolini of Grand Island, NY; three grandchildren Colin, Ryan, and Ava; brother Fred (Gina) Calandrelli of Niagara Falls, NY; sister-in-law Colleen Calandrelli and lifelong friend Alice Morgan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Barabara was predeceased by her husband John, and brother Gene Calandrelli.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 1 – 4 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where closing prayers will begin at 4 PM. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations in Mrs. Marcolini's memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, www.niagarahospice.org/donate. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
