Barbara A. 'Barb' Marino, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 2, 2025, at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Lungaro) Marino.
Barb was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed as a Crossing Guard for the Town of Grand Island for over 35 years, and concurrently was working at St. Stephen's RC School on Grand Island as a Cafeteria Aide for the past 15 years. 'Mrs. C' or 'Grandma Three', as Barb was affectionately known, loved to cook and bake. She was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Barb also cherished her pets, but above all, was happiest when she was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her children, Rebecca Cacciatore, John (Pamela) Cacciatore, and David (Annmarie) Cacciatore; her grandchildren, Alexis Cacciatore, Melinda Schultz, Victoria (Alex) Potenza, and Roman Cacciatore; her cherished cousin, Ralph Perri, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. Barbara's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 6, at 12 Noon at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072. Everyone please assemble at church. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, https://www.niagaraspca.org/.
