Barbara Jean (VanEvery) Robison, 54, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday May 5, 2013 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Ransomville, NY she was the daughter of the late Clyde Jacobs and Mary Louise (Farnham) Mt. Pleasant.
Barbara graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. She was currently employed as a cashier at Randy's Smoke Shop in Lewiston, NY. On November 5, 2011 she married Thomas L. Robison at the Tuscarora Indian Mission Church. Barbara served as the secretary for her former husband's lacrosse team, Tuscarora Thunderhawks. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed bowling and going to the Casino. Barb was also a skilled crafter particularly with bead-work items. But most of all, Barbara was a caretaker to all and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was known to make everyone around her laugh.
In addition to her husband Thomas, Barbara is survived by three children Clyde (Traciann) VanEvery, Burton VanEvery both of Niagara Falls, NY and Claudia (Tim Henry) VanEvery of Six Nations, Ontario, Canada; five grandchildren Jeremy Blasko, T.J. Henry, Cerulean VanEvery, Cadence Henry and Kenneth VanEvery; three sisters Carrie (late Don) Beaver, Charlene (late Fred) Welker and Roxanne Johnson; four brothers Tom (late Rose) Mt. Pleasant, James (Jeri) Mt. Pleasant, Bill (Terry) Mt. Pleasant and Roger (Elaine) Mt. Pleasant; one step brother Marcel Jacobs; one sister-in-law Linda (Mark) Roulley and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth VanEvery on May 13, 2001 and two sisters Alberta "Sal" (late Edd) Johnson and Martha (Frank) Able.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday May 9th at 1 p.m. at Tuscarora Baptist Church, 2088 Mt. Hope Road, Sanborn, NY with Rev. Walter Printup and Rev. Donald Robinson officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
