Benjamin "Sonny" Nicoletti, 73 of Lewiston, NY passed away on Monday September 3, 2012 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Edith (Cabello) Nicoletti.

Sonny was a lifelong resident of the area and attended local schools. On October 25, 1959 he married Marguerite M. (Trasatti) Nicoletti in Port Colborne, Ontario. Sonny served in the United States Air Force Reserves, and was an entrepreneur for over fifty years. He was an avid sports fan and animal lover who also enjoyed boating, fishing and golfing. Most of all, Sonny enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of fifty two years, Mr. Nicoletti is survived by his four children, Debra A. (Edward) Macri of Sanborn, NY, Benjamin J. Nicoletti (Linda Folino) of Lewiston, NY, Anthony Nicoletti (Beth Lauzonis) of Niagara Falls, NY and Ronald J. (Lisa) Nicoletti of Lewiston, NY, five grandchildren, Dominic Macri, Nicholas Harvey, Alexa Nicoletti, Olivia Nicoletti and Marco Nicoletti. He was the brother of the late, Paula (Ben of Las Vegas, NV) Cafaro. He is also survived by his brother Mario Nicoletti, and sister Jennifer Nicoletti both of Florida, his special friends and confidants, Adam Thomas of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Tim Shiah of Las Vegas, NV, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday September 7th at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements by M.J.
