Bettie Rose (Dixon) passed peacefully from this life on January 24, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Residence in Lewiston, NY.
Born on February 5, 1920 in Farnsworth, Texas, Bettie was pre-deceased by her parents Ebenezer and Wanda Dixon, her sister Perna Mason, brother Jack Dixon, husband Robert Rose, daughter Dixie Jay, son Dale Rose, grandson Michael Jay and son-in-law Walter Kubiski. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Rose, her grandsons Adam Rose, Jeff Rose (Jesse), Shane Rose (Heather), Will Jay (Laurie), and great-grandchildren Aubree, Allen, Ian, and Samantha.

Bettie also cared deeply for her son-in-law Walton Jay, her daughters-in-law Sonya Rose and Marcia McClurg, and for Laurie Jay's children Alexandra and Jeremy Anderson.
Bettie was a kind, intelligent and unique person, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private family memorial service will be held in the spring.
