Betty Ann (Daniels) Cerminara, 75, of Grand Island, NY, died on Monday December 15, 2008 at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Azzarello) Daniels.

Betty attended local schools in Niagara Falls and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. During the early 1950's, Betty was employed at a local Niagara Falls law firm. In 1989 she and her husband moved to Grand Island where she currently resided. Betty took great pleasure in being a homemaker. She especially enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and crafts, but above all raising her grandchildren.

Betty Ann is survived by her husband of fifty five years Russell A. Cerminara, two daughters Therese M. (Dale) Heary of Niagara Falls, NY and Debra M. (Todd) Reublin of California; five grandchildren Nina (Kevin) Schendel, Christin (Venkat) Kolli, Anthony Heary, Angela Heary and Gabrielle Reublin, her sister-in-law Margaret Daniels of Lewiston, NY, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews, cousins, and her beloved poodle Fudge. She was also predeceased by five sisters and one brother Grace Egert, Angie Carmen, Lena Calabrese, Gertrude Paonessa, Frances Lunsford, and Russell Daniels.

There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niagara Falls, NY, followed by entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston NY at the convenience of the family. Arrangements made by M.J.
