Betty (Scarfone) Fantrazzo 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday August 23, 2013 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Josephine Scarfone.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. On August 9, 1947, she married Charles J. Fantrazzo in Niagara Falls. Mr. Fantrazzo predeceased her on May 19, 2004. For a short time, Betty worked in her family's grocery store located in Niagara Falls. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of them, as well as cooking and baking.

Mrs. Fantrazzo is survived by her two sons, Charles (Debra) Fantrazzo and Frank (Pam) Fantrazzo both of Lewiston, NY, six grandchildren, Carrie (Kevin) Brazinski, Charles Fantrazzo, Michael Fantrazzo, Amy (Dennis) Carroll, Leah Fantrazzo and Victor Fantrazzo, , six great-grandchildren, Brandan, Mara-Jade, Charlize, Charlie, Francesca and Claire, two sisters, Jo Perry and Mary (late Mario 'Lefty') Colosi both of Niagara Falls, NY, one brother Joseph (Rose) Scarfone of Lockport, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Anthony (late Sandy) Scarfone, Frank (Delores) Scarfone and one sister Teresa (late Tony) Perricelli.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 27th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Maines officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery Lewiston, NY.
