Betty J. Licata, age 90, passed away October 15, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House Lockport, NY. She was born in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late William and May (Zaccardell) McClintock . Betty was married for 71 years to the love of her life, John Licata, who predeceased her on September 7, 2019.

Betty was employed by the Board of Education, working in the cafeteria, she was a former server at Mark's Diner and also worked as a cashier at Freddies. She enjoyed cooking, tending to her garden, above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hayes (Richard Gassner) and her son John (Cheryl) Licata, grandchildren, Burdette, Heather, Jennifer, Laura, John, great grandchildren Nicholas, Gabriella, Emilie and Alexi May. Devoted sister of Susan (William) Tesch, Virginia (Ray) Keiper and was predeceased by her sisters Emma, Joan, Patricia, Marilyn and Linda and her brothers Harry and William. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Monday October 19, 2020 from 2-4pm at THE M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Road Niagara Falls, New York. Betty's funeral mass will be private celebrated at 11am on Tuesday October 20, 2020 from The Sacred Heart of Mary Church 1993 Brant Road North Collins, NY.
