Betty M. (Maturani) Scrivano, 78 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away at her home on September 5, 2018 while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born August 5, 1940 in Niagara Falls she was the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Porrecca) Maturani.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls.  She graduated from Niagara Falls High School and attended Niagara University where she studied art education.   On April 30, 1960, she married Louis N. Scrivano at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  Mr. Scrivano predeceased her on July 16, 2005.  Betty began her career as a secretary at Bell Aerospace.  Afterwards she worked as a secretary for the Miss USA Pageant in Niagara Falls during the 1970's , and went on to become administrator of the Niagara County Council of Aging.  Betty was also the producer and host of LCTVs' Young at Heart and Food for Thought television programs.  Betty was a talented oil painter and RSVP volunteer at the Castellani Art Museum.  She was a member of the Buff Club, the Ladies Cristoforo Colombo Society, a proprietor at the Sanborn Old General Store and Election Inspector.

Betty is survived by her two children, Lynnemarie Scrivano of Wheatfield, NY and Anthony E. (Terri) Scrivano of Garnet Valley, PA, two grandchildren, Juliana Donner and Vincent Donner both of Niagara Falls, NY her grand-puppies McGee and Annabelle, one sister Carol (Joseph) DiRamio of Lockport, NY, her sister-in-law Rosemary Cosgrove of Niagara Falls, NY as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also predeceased by one sister Jeanette Krembas.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday September 8 ^th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
