Beverley A. 'Bev' Carney, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on September 18, 2021 in Our Lady of Peace Skilled Nursing Facility where she resided since 2019. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Carney of Niagara Falls and the late Beatrice (Brierley) Carney of Manchester, England.

Bev was educated in Niagara Falls public schools and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  She had worked as a proofreader at Moore Business Forms. She also worked for many years at Marine Midland Bank (Power City Office and Drive Thru) as a Teller. Most recently, she worked for Family & Children's Service of Niagara in the role of Volunteer Coordinator.

She will be remembered for her determination, love of animals, love of movies and books, her sense of humor and was an avid sports fan; with special enjoyment of the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.

Bev is survived by her nephew Kevin Ford and his life partner Dale Rossmann of Niagara Falls, NY. She also leaves behind relatives and friends with special love for the Brierley family of Buffalo. She was predeceased by her sister Edna (late Kenneth) Ford of Niagara Falls, who predeceased her in 2011.

The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM on Thursday, September 23 at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 11 AM.  Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  In life, Bev requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 or a charity dear to you.
