Blanche (Petrie) Stryker, 90 of Tonawanda, NY passed away on Saturday April 19, 2014 at Northgate Manor in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Josephine (Doucette) Petrie.

Blanche was raised and educated in Winnipeg, and moved to the Niagara Falls, NY area in the 1940's. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Casino. Blanche's greatest pleasure was hosting family gatherings in her home.

Blanche is survived by her husband, Frank J. Stryker, three children, Anita (Jerry) Mertsching of Vancouver, WA, Emil (Joanne) Sannicola of Wheatfield, NY and Kim Stryker of Chicago, IL, two grandchildren, Cori Sannicola and Emily (Mike) Unverzagt, two sisters, Bertha Pasieki of Winnipeg, MB, Lorraine Marcolini of Wheatfield, NY, one brother Roy Petrie of British Columbia, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by six siblings.
