Obituary

Bonnie D. Eaton-Mackie, 67, passed away on Saturday October 29th, 2010 in Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital, Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late William Eaton who passed away in World War II and the late Ruth May (McConnell) Mackie and the late Andrew Mackie.

Bonnie attended local schools and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She later attended Bryant and Stratton Business Institute and Niagara County Community College receiving an Associates Degree in Business. Bonnie was employed as a Counselor with the Niagara County Mental Health and Drug Abuse Program and retired in 2005. She was also a volunteer with the Literacy volunteers and a volunteer for the Crisis Hotline both in Niagara Falls, NY. Bonnie enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and gardening. Most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother who centered her life around her family.

Bonnie is survived by her three children Lori Farallo, William (April) Biggins and Debbie (Fred) Stempien all of Niagara Falls,NY; four
Grandsons; Andrew Farallo, Liam Biggins, Aidan Biggins and Raymond Fadel and one nephew Ryan Mackie. She was predeceased by two brothers; James Mackie and John (Sandra of CA) Mackie.

The family will receive friends on Monday November 1st from 3-8 PM at the M. J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday November 2nd at 11:15 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 27th Street and Independence Avenue Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. If desired memorials may be made to Upstate New York Transplant Services (UNYTS) 110 Broadway Buffalo, NY 14203.
