IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bonnie
Fields
January 22, 2024
Bonnie Fields, born Bonita Sue Knowlton, passed away peacefully at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the age of 60. Bonnie was the biological mother of six children however, many people considered her their other mother. She was born in North Tonawanda on May 4, 1963, to John Knowlton and Shirley Ann Blauvelt.
She graduated from Niagara County Community College with an associate degree in business administration while in her 50s. With her heritage being Native American (Seneca and Mohawk), she enjoyed attending regular Native American events in Western New York. She had a passion for completing puzzles, crafts, cooking and enjoyed watching crime investigative TV shows.
She cared deeply for her family, neighbors, and church family. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help, even if you didn't ask. She regularly brought meals to the homes of sick neighbors and church members and always ensured that every child who crossed her path was safe, healthy, and happy.
Bonnie is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is survived by her six children, Candice Knowlton Weld, Kristin Knowlton Nickles, Ashley Cox Mayes (Joshua), Justin Cox (Evelyn), Danielle Cox Fees (Anthony), Christopher Olay, and twelve grandchildren, one sister and two brothers.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 27 at 2:00pm at Forestview Church of God, 1250 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14305.
