Brian S. Lewis, 51, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 20, 2016 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the loving son of the late Ernest and Thelma (Gallentine) Lewis.

Brian was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School in 1983 and later attended Eastern Carolina University. On August 5, 1983, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served as a field radio operator until his honorable discharge on August 4, 1987. On December 7, 1985, Brian married his loving wife, Enria (Billones) Lewis in Niagara Falls.

Brian worked for the Department of Transportation for 17 years, and was currently employed as a Supervisor. He was an avid football, baseball and hockey fan, and a passionate fan of the Miami Dolphins, Boston Red Sox and Toronto Maple Leafs. Above all, Brian's life was centered around his family, especially his grandchildren who he loved dearly.

In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his three children, Maryann (Michael) Nidell, E.J. (Kristin) Lewis, Cindy (Thomas) McCarthy; grandchildren, Christian, Abbygail, Myla and Ethan. He is also survived by his siblings, Mark (Melissa Stover) Lewis, Randy (Audrey) Pardee, Terry (late Louanne) Lewis, David (Claire) Lewis, Darlene (George) Moyer, Donna (Ray) Roe, Cheryl Mandrona, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two siblings, Ricky Pardee and Barbara Whispel and a grandson, Mazz Nidell.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Riverdale Cemetary 5605 Old Lewiston Rd., Lewiston, NY 14092.
