Carl A. Zimmerman, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 1, 2024 at Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Buffalo, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Milford and Angelina (DiPoula) Zimmerman.

Carl was a graduate of LaSalle Senior High School.  He later moved to Florida, where he was employed as a cook and a restaurant manager at Cedar River Seafood in Lakeland, FL.  Carl also was self-employed as an auto mechanic, and enjoyed working on cars.  He enjoyed walking, listening to music, and will be remembered for being a practical joker – he had a striking resemblance to the comedian Gallagher when he wore his bandana.  Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

Carl is survived by his children, Sonny Zimmerman, Chero Morgan, and Carl Zimmerman, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Mike, Sonny "Beans", Kyle, Kobe, Kole, Allyssa, Mikael and Taylor; his great-grandchildren, Eiden, Elora, Jayden and Jahlani; his siblings, Gary Zimmerman, Gerald Zimmerman, and Deborah (late Edward) Catanese, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Cheryl "Sherrie" (Nelles, Sr.) Henry.
