Carla Frio, 43, passed away unexpectedly on December 18th, 2022, at her home. She was born and raised in Liverpool, NY, graduating from Liverpool High School (LHS). She continued her education at the University of Buffalo, receiving a bachelor's degree in Communications. Carla had many exciting careers that allowed her to travel extensively, but found her passion in caring for the older population.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father Carl, mother Michele and brother Kevin. Her loved ones find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her family and likely dancing with her dad among the clouds.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her aunt Mary O'Connor; cousins Chris (Tabitha) O'Connor, Katryn (Patty) Melfi and their families; dear friend and "guardian angel," Jeannine Nanula Hardy; best friend and "SoulMate Partner In Life," Gina Bosco; and her beloved pup, Benson, who has been graciously adopted by her best friend from college, Melissa Rubadeaux, and her family. In addition, many friends that became family, especially those from her childhood, growing up on Trivet Drive, her LHS "girls" and her theater crew. She met many special people along the way during her years in Buffalo, especially Don Osborn and Jody Whitney.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at 5:30pm at The Chapel, 500 Crosspoint Pkwy, Getzville, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association or JDRF.

To know Carla was to laugh with her. To honor her, share a funny story with a dear friend and hold them close for as long as you can.
