Carmela 'Millie' M. (Maglio) Milanovich, age 97, passed away on Sunday August 10, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY.

Carmela was born in Hazelton, PA and married George J. Milanovich on January 16, 1937. Mr. Milanovich predeceased her in 1987. Carmela along with her husband George, founded George's Appliance Inc. in Niagara Falls, NY which continues to be operated by her family on Pine Avenue.

Mrs. Milanovich is survived by her two children, Barbara Leonetti of Youngstown, NY and Mark J. (Linda) Milanovich of Lewiston, NY and was predeceased by one son George M. 'Sonny' Milanovich. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Carmela was also predeceased by one brother, Guy (late Rose) Maglio, and four sisters, Mary (late John) DiMatteo, Catherine (late Frank) DiGiovanni, Lena (late George) Laczi and Viola (late Carl) Malinverni.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday August 13th at 10:00 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay O.S.F.S. officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Private interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence 5285 Lewiston Rd. Lewiston, NY 14092. Arrangements by M.J.
