Carmen M. (LaLonde), of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday September 24, 2010 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care residence in Lewiston, NY surrounded by her loving family. She was 87.

Carmen was born in Montreal, Canada the daughter of the late Oscar and Rosa May (Benjamin) LaLonde. She grew up in Ogdensburg, NY. Carmen worked as a secretary at Bishop Duffy High School for 25 years.Carmen was past president of the 79th Street PTA, a member of the Bishop Duffy Mother's Club and long time member of Prince of Peace Choir. She also sang with the Buffalo Schola Contourm and Buffalo Philharmonic. Carmen was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Nugent is survived by her children, Donald (Lee Anne) Nugent of Depew, NY, Kenneth (Susan) Nugent of Wheatfield, NY, Timothy Nugent of Melbourne, FL, Robert (Lorrie) Nugent of Wheatfield, NY and Constance (late Larry) Andreini of Niagara Falls, NY whom she lived with for the past 30 years. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Timothy (Danelle) Pericelli, Michael Nugent, Demetrius Nugent, Lindsey (Paul) Wrobel, Heather Nugent, Jennifer (Bob) Nowak, Robert (Valerie) Nugent, Patrick Nugent, Mathew Andreini, Andrea Nugent, DJ Nugent, Thomas Nugent, Michelle(Robert)Brown and Scott Singleton. 8 great-grandchildren, one sister Frances (late Charles) Ross of Lewiston, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Valmore (late Geiselle) LaLonde, David (late Peggy) LaLonde, Edward (late Frances) LaLonde, Gertrude (late Edward) Shanahan, Madeline (late Arthur) LaComb and Ruby (late Joseph) Edwards.

There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of her life will be held on Monday September 27th at 7:00 p.m. at St. John de LaSalle Church 8469 Buffalo Avenue Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Joseph C.
