Carmen S. Scibilia, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 9, 2019. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Sarah (Antonucci) Scibilia; and the loving husband of the late Louvera (Starcher) Scibilia of 40 years.
Carmen attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School, where he played football. Upon graduation, he served in the United States Army until his Honorable Discharge. Carmen was a championship bowler and once won a sports car in a bowling tournament.
Carmen was a longtime member of the Teamsters Union and worked for Niagara Concrete for many years. He later worked for Gross Plumbing & Heating until his retirement.
Carmen had many close friends and was loved deeply by his friends and family. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Scibilia is survived by his children, David Scibilia and Linda (late Raymond) Burling; his granddaughter, Nina Scibilia (Clayton Brossett); three great-grandchildren, Niko, Giovanni and Aurora. He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Roseann) Scibilia, brother- in- law, Jeff (Sue) Starcher, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Joseph (late Ida) Scibilia.
