Carmen A. Vaccarella, Jr., 66, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Carmen A., Sr. and Betty (McCarthy) Vaccarella.

Carmen was a graduate of the former LaSalle Senior High School. In his younger years, he lived in Arizona and Las Vegas, where he worked as a Bellman for several years. He returned to Niagara Falls and was employed by the NFTA as a bus operator for many years prior to his retirement.

Carmen enjoyed boating, as well as traveling with his beloved companion Cheryl Krueger. He also had a love for music and especially enjoyed attending concerts. Carmen was also an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Indians. Above all, Carmen's zest for life and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

In addition to his loving companion Cheryl, he is survived by his siblings, Connie (late Robert) Neubauer and Sandra (John) Tory; many close friends including his best friends, Gerry, Bob, Dan and Terry; his uncle, Frank (late Loretta) Vaccarella; as well as several nieces, nephews and dear cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 20 from 2 – 5:30 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 5:30 PM Memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
