Carmine Cardamone, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in Spezzano Piccolo, Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Serofino and Ernestina (Federico) Cardamone.

Carmine was raised in Italy, where he married the love of his life, Franca (Fiore) Cardamone, on January 18, 1959, in their hometown of Spezzano. He worked as a welder in Italy and later immigrated to the United States with his family.  For over 35 years, he was employed as a laborer with Laborers Local #91, and also worked concrete construction alongside his brother-in-law, Anthony.

A proud Italian-American, Carmine was a longtime member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society and their bocce team. He cherished his heritage through the traditions of winemaking and crafting soppressata, sharing these passions with family and friends.

Carmine is survived by his children, Tina (Jeffrey) Davis, Sero (Carry) Cardamone, and Robert (Sarah) Cardamone; his grandchildren, Stephanie Cardamone, Nicholas (Meaghan) Cardamone, Gracie Cardamone, and Emily Peppard; and his great-grandson, Nolan Cardamone. He is also survived by his siblings, Gabrielle (late Bill) LaCava, Enrico (Mary) Cardamone, Ada (late Peter) Cannistracci, and Paul (Linda) Cardamone; his brother-in-law, Salvatore Fiore and his sister-in-law, Teresa Giuliani, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Carmine was predeceased by his beloved wife, Franca, and his brother, Antonio.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11 from 9:30 - 11:15 AM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY where prayers will begin at 11:15 AM, followed by Carmine's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lewiston, NY.
