IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol J.
Astorino
March 30, 2025
Carol J. Astorino, 82, of Williamsville, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the cherished daughter of the late Samuel and Jane (Trombetta) Astorino.
Carol was affectionately known as Kellyjane by her friends from her youth. She was a dedicated member of the CYC and formerly sang in the choir at Our Lady of Lebanon Church. At 18, she joyfully played the Easter Bunny at Jenss.
Carol treasured her time at her family's beloved businesses: The Capital Sweet Shoppe, the Trombetta Grocery Store, and DiCamillo's Bakery. She lived for her family, taking pride in her children's lives through her involvement in their school activities and the PTA. Carol later continued her nurturing ways by helping to raise her grandchildren, sharing with them her love and warmth.
Carol's love for dance lit up every room, her energy as infectious as her smile. She found joy in traveling, playing bingo, bowling, and the simple pleasure of giving. Whether at home or out, her thoughts were always with her family—the heart of her world. She was the warmest hug, the brightest cheerleader, and the most selfless giver, always watching QVC to find the perfect gifts. Carol was more than a mother or grandmother; she was a teacher, a nurse, a chef, a therapist, a chauffeur and a best friend. Your joy was her joy, your win was her win. She gave endlessly, loved deeply, and will be cherished forever.
Carol is survived by four children, Lauri Ciccone (Gerald Roth), Jerry (Noelle) Ciccone Jr., Jacqueline (Bruce) Burns and Philip Ciccone and was sadly predeceased by one daughter, Lisa (Richard) Shaw. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Mandi Ryan, Aaron Ryan, Joshua Shaw, Jacqueline (Neil Hardick) Sartori, Abrianna (John Massey) Roth, Giovanna (Joseph) Rubiano, Nicholas Roth, Olivia Roth, TJ Ciccone, Alex Ciccone and John Conti; her great-grandchildren, Zachary, Maddie, Jayden, James, Joshua, Avianah, Madelyn, Emma, Nora and Mabel. In addition to her parents and daughter, Carol was predeceased by her former husband, Gerard Ciccone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 11 – 1 PM at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301, where Carol's Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 PM.
