Carol E. (Robillard) McDonald, 70, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2009 at home, surrounded by her family, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lillian (Toni) Robillard.

Carol attended Niagara Falls High School. She worked for many years at the Clarkson House Restaurant in Lewiston. Carol was an avid bowler and former board member of the Niagara Falls Women's Bowling Association. She was also a member of St. Leo's Parish, and in her leisure time she enjoyed gardening and reading. She also liked playing Bingo, taking trips to various casinos and family gatherings.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of fifty three years, Alvin T. McDonald; six children Thomas A. (Carolyn), Donna R. Dwyer, Mark S. (Christine), Barbara J. Brusino (Bob), Michael A. and Jackie L. (Kevin) Bryans; six grandchildren Justin, Thomas, Raymond, Jeffrey, Matthew and Michael; one great grandchild Brianna and several nieces and nephews. In addition, Carol is survived by two sisters Shirley (Don) Searle and June (Stanley) Laroe. She was predeceased by two brothers Arthur and Edward; and three sisters Alice, Delores and Gloria.

Carol's family will be present to receive family and friends on Saturday July 25th from 10:45 – 11:30 a.m. at M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
