Carol E. Pakosigan, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17 ^th , 2018 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Ohsweken, Canada, she was the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Johnson) Staats.

Carol was employed by Staff Builders Health Services as a home health care aide for many years until her retirement in 2007. She was a very spiritual woman who was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Pakosigan is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Kelsey) Webb; two grandchildren, Christopher Pakosigan and Carolynn Webb; great-grandchildren, Molly Pakosigan and Brooklynn Webb; siblings, Judy Sony and Georgine Staats, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 13 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22 ^nd from 12 – 2 & 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 11 A.M. in Niagara Frontier Bible Church, 5287 Bronson Drive, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice House.
