Carol J. (Previte) Scott, 68, of Grand Island, NY passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Northgate Healthcare Facility while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Mary Grace (Chiarenza) Previte.

Carol was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. She was employed for many years at the former Hills Department Store in the Town of Niagara. Carol enjoyed socializing with her friends and attending special events held at Marigold Housing in Grand Island where she resided. She also enjoyed cooking and especially loved the QVC Shopping Network.

Carol is survived by her four siblings, Robert (Mary Jane) Previte of Bluffton, SC, Esther (Douglas) Thurau, Sr. of Hazel Park, MI, Jeanne (David) Green of Grand Island, NY and Richard (Adele) Previte of Niagara Falls, NY; her aunt Joanie (Joe) Stalteri of Phoenix, AZ, nine nieces and nephews, seven great-nieces and great-nephews as well as many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th from 5 – 7 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 9750 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Niagara Falls, NY followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dan McLaughlin and Rev. Dr. James Vigil officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
