Carole Anne (Nicoletti) McIntosh Burson, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth(LaValley) Nicoletti.

Carole Anne attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.She was a resident of Niagara Falls, NY until she went to Modesto, California and married Eugene where they lived for ten years until returning to Niagara Falls in 1998. She was an active member of several area organizations including the Cristoforo Colombo Society, the VFW Post 917 Women's Auxiliary, American Legion LaSalle Post Women's Auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi. She was also a member of St. Vincent De Paul Parish and a dedicated volunteer with HANCI (Health Association of Niagara County, Inc.) in Niagara Falls, NY and was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Award for her service. Carole Ann enjoyed cooking, traveling, canning, playing cryptogram games and completing crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Burson was predeceased by her first husband Herbert K. McIntosh She is survived by her second husband Eugene Burson, five children Sean (Maria) McIntosh, Jean (Fernando) DiCesare, Kay M. (Robert) Goldman all of Niagara Falls, NY; Andrea L. Burson of Modesto, California and Valerie J. (Michael) Palomo of Lancaster,California, thirteen grandchildren, two brothers Paul (Marilyn) Nicoletti of Lewiston, NY and Vincent (Kathy) Nicoletti of the Town of Niagara, NY, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her lifelong friend of sixty one years Maxine Dorato and her dear friends Joseph and Teresa Torre. Carole Anne was predeceased by one brother Frank (Charlvene of Niagara Falls, NY) Nicoletti, Sr.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday December 31st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 North Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
