Carolyn Fruscione, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Trapasso) Mariano.

Carolyn was raised in Ontario where she graduated from NFCVI, and met the love of her life, Sam Fruscione. They were married in 1961 at St. Anne's Church in Ontario, and moved to 20 ^th Street in Niagara Falls, NY. In 1963, they built their home on Third Avenue in the Town of Niagara.

Carolyn began working as a Special Education associate in 1971 for the Niagara Falls Board of Education until retiring in 2002. She was a devout Catholic, avid camper and enjoyed traveling. Above all, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Fruscione is survived by her two children, Samuel (Paula) Fruscione and David (Felicity) Fruscione; her grandchildren, Samantha, Erica, Jade Li and Carmelo; two brothers, Emilio Mariano and John Mariano, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn's beloved husband, Sam, passed away just one day after Carolyn on October 23.

Carolyn and Sam's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 AM in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to the American Diabetes of WNY or the Dementia/Alzheimer's Association of WNY or the American Thyroid Association.
