Caterina Tallarico, age 84, passed away on November 11, 2019 at Mt. St. Mary Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Emma (Badolato) Rotella; and was the beloved wife of 63 years to Antonio Tallarico.

Caterina worked many years at Club Joey as a restaurant assistant , after that she worked as a housekeeper at the Hotel Niagara for many years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, was active member with the church  prayer group, and enjoyed making many trips with the prayer group.  At her home, you could find her taking care of her garden that she took great pride in. She also loved to crochet, and cook many meals for her family and friends, above all spending time with her family at family gatherings.

In addition to her husband Antonio, Caterina is survived by her sons, Dominick L. (Mary) Tallarico, Francesco A. Tallarico; her daughter Mariannia Bond; and was predeceased by her daughter Emma Tallarico. She was the cherished Nana of  Dominick F. Donald, Kathy, Gina and the late Antonio, great-grandmother of Athena, Angelina, Angelo, Mia and Mark. She was also predeceased by her brother Joseph Rotella and her sister Rosina Tallarico.

Visitation will be on Friday November 15, 2019 from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY, where prayers will begin at 11:30 A.M., followed by Caterina's Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, at 12 Noon.  Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
