Catherine Annetta Blazick, 92, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023. Born in Hornell, NY she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Paul and Julia (Reagan) Spalding.

Catherine graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1948. On October 21, 1947, she married her beloved husband, Frank Henry Blazick at St. Ann's Church in Hornell.

Catherine was employed by the 914 ^th Tactical Airlift Group of the Niagara Falls Air Base as a secretary until her retirement in 1990.

Mr. and Mrs. Blazick were devout Catholics and founding parishioners of St. Leo's Church. Catherine was also a longtime member of the Lewiston Senior Center and the T.O.P.S. club for over 25 years. She also loved playing Bingo and cards.

Above all, Catherine centered her life around her family who will miss her dearly.

Mrs. Blazick is survived by her children, Stephen (Marti) Blazick and Jody (James) Wienke; four grandchildren, Jonathan (Julie) Blazick, Kenneth (Erica) Blazick, Joseph (Elizabeth) Blazick and JoAnna (James) Wallace; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Alma (late Ronald) Coleman; her beloved friend of ninety years, Mary Burris, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Frank, who predeceased her on August 10, 2010, and her parents, she was predeceased by her loving grandmother, Elsie Dillon; her step mother, Eloise Paul; her step father, George Spalding and one step-brother, Lyle (late Lola) Spaulding.

Catherine's Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, May 6 at 10:30 AM in St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Private entombment in The Chapel of St. Francis of Assisi, Tonawanda, NY.
