Catherine T. (Grana) Centofanti, 95 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday November 25, 2010 at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Rochester, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Grana.

Catherine moved to the Niagara Falls area as a young child with her family and attended local schools. On September 25, 1943 she married Dominic Centofanti in St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Centofanti predeceased her on August 26, 1966. For several years, Catherine was a foster grandmother for the Health Association of Niagara County (HANCI). She loved being in the outdoors and especially loved gardening.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Centofanti was predeceased by her son Ronald Centofanti. She is survived by a sister Theresa J. Grana of Niagara Falls, NY, her niece, Deborah (Fred) Maj of Niagara Falls, NY and nephew Jerome (Sandy) D'Eramo of Florida, great-nieces and great-nephews, Melissa Maj, Michael Maj, Tony (Erica) D'Eramo and Adam D'Eramo as well as several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Frances (late Pat) Centofanti and Gertrude (late Jerome) D'Eramo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 29th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094 or a charity of one's choice.
