Cecilia Badiali, 102, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on January 23, 2026, at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY. Born in Stevenston, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Cecilia (Lawson) Stirrat.

Cecilia was educated in Scotland and worked in a nitroglycerine factory during World War II before immigrating to the United States in the 1950s. In September of 1956, she married Edward J. Badiali. Mr. Badiali predeceased her on November 30, 2016.

Cecilia was employed at Kimberly‑Clark, Saber Saw, and Nabisco Shredded Wheat, but devoted most of her life to being a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening and took great pride in tending to her backyard, working outdoors well into her 100th year. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family. She will be remembered for her strength, her independence, and her unwavering love for those she held dear.

She is survived by her son, Paul Badiali; her grandchildren, Josiah Badiali, Erika (Eddie) Forte, and Paul Badiali II, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she was predeceased by five brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1 from 12 – 1 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will follow at 1 PM.
