Cecilia (Bedard) Ryan, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 7, 2021 at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Plattsburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ephrem and Cecilia (Boyer) Bedard.

Cecilia was married to the late William C. Ryan on October 11, 1952; they were married for 39 years until his passing in 1991. Cecilia was employed at Jenss Department Store in the Ladies Department and at Mila Fabrics, both in Niagara Falls.  Cecilia volunteered for over 35 years at Mount St. Mary's Gift Shop. She enjoyed Traveling, Dancing, Sewing and Bowling, and was a member of the Town of Niagara Lioness Club.

Cecilia is survived by her children, Sherry L. Steinbrenner and William D. Ryan; her 3 grandchildren, Jenny McMartin-Eck, Nicole Schmidt and Samara Summers; and 2 great-grandchildren, Layla Schmidt and Evelyn Summers as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by 15 siblings.

Due to current circumstances, private funeral services and interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.
