Celestine M. Serianni, 75, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on December 19, 2022 at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Margaret M. (Certo) Serianni, and the step-daughter of the late Palmer Serianni.

Celestine was a 1964 graduate of Madonna High School.  She was employed for 38 years for New York Telephone (later Verizon), working as an Operator and Customer Service Representative, retiring in 2007.  Celestine was a volunteer at Heart, Love, and Soul, a member of the Niagara Women's Club as well as a member of her Madonna Class Reunion Committee.  She enjoyed shopping, completing crossword puzzles, baking, cooking and traveling.  Her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.  Celestine will be remembered for her humility, kindness, and for always having a smile on her face.

Celestine is survived by her sisters, Catherine Serianni and Mary Ann (Thomas) Beaver; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Michael) Venditti, Frank (Mandi) Beaver, and Brian (Valerie) Beaver; seven great nieces and nephews, as well as by many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Celestine's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Peter R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092.  Everyone please assemble at church.  Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
