A Friend To Everyone He Met

Charles Leffler, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away suddenly Friday, January 7, 2011, in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Marino) Leffler.

Chuck was raised in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He worked for Bell Aerospace for 10 years and recently retired from the Unifrax Corporation after 35 years of service.

Chuck was a member of the Elks Lodge 346 and former member of the Frontier Volunteer Fire Co. A current member of Divine Mercy Parish, he was also very active with the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church. Chuck was an avid sportsman and enjoyed bowling, golfing and gaming at the casino.

Mr. Leffler is survived by his wife of many years Marina (Diaz) Leffler, two daughters, Jennifer (Rod) Hudson and Michelle (Jean) Lepine both of Canada; Proud Papa to Michelle, Jenna, Jacob, Joseph, Daniel and Michael; One sister, Jean (late Gerald) Morton of Sanborn, NY, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by a brother, Bill (Janet of the Town of Niagara) Leffler.

Chuck was a close relative of the Swiatkowski and Ligammari families of Niagara Falls, NY, and dear friend of Zelia and Jerry Freeman.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 – 8pm at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, January 11th at 9:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of 24th and Niagara Streets, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
