Charles O. Marazzo, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Cicciari) Marazzo.

Charles attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1965. Shortly after arriving home, he married the love of his life, Linda (Cesari) Marazzo on December 11, 1965 at St. Joseph's Church.

Charles grew up immersed in the grocery store business starting as a stock clerk at the former Columbia Markets at the age of 16. In 1970, he became the owner and operator of Latina's on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls. With the addition of his sons, Chuck and Craig, and daughter, Ann, he expanded the business into a wholesale food distribution company, Latina Foodservice, which currently holds over 350 employees and serves over 4000 customers throughout Western New York.

Charles was active in the community and served on several boards. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church, as well as the Cristoforo Columbo Society. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing, playing cards and completing sudoku puzzles. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, Mr. Marazzo is survived by his children, Chuck (Keri) Marazzo, Craig Marazzo and Ann (Justin) Sidoni; five grandchildren, Courtney Marazzo, Mateo Marazzo, Charlie Marazzo, Natalie Sidoni and Nicolas Sidoni; his siblings, Mary Rose (late Joseph) Archie and Natale 'Chris' (Darla) Marazzo, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are welcome to attend Mr. Marazzo's Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 13 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Please assemble at church. Entombment with Military honors will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. A Celebration of Mr. Marazzo's Life will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Banchetti by Rizzo's, 550 N. French Road Amherst, NY 14228.
