Obituary

Charles B. Primerano, 68, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 21, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness. Born in Welland, Ontario he was the loving son of the late Edward and Ellen (Nicklefork) Primerano. Charles attended local schools in Welland and later moved to Niagara Falls, NY with his parents and siblings in 1964.

Charles had a passion for exotic cars and love for motorcycles. His love for the water had him on one of his many boats during summers. He was always on the chase to get "the best deal" while attending auctions, yard sales or wherever he could use his expertise in bargaining. Charles was a jack of all trades and mastered most of them. He was known for always cooking for his family and friends. You could always count on Chuck to have the best steaks in his freezer as he was prepared to always lift someone's spirit by making them his famous steaks on the grill. Charles was a proud member of the Laborer's Local Union 91, where he was just awarded a plaque for being a 50 year member.

Charles is survived by his loving companion of 21 years, Wendy Kovacs of Niagara Falls, NY; eight children, including his three daughters, Tina (Matt) Dominski and Tammy (Chris) Meadows of Virginia Beach, VA, as well as Terra (Chuck) Hauenstein of Moyock, NC, five sons, Eddy Primerano, Branden Primerano, Dominick Primerano and Tino Primerano all of Niagara Falls, NY and Charles Primerano of Florida; two step-sons John Henry and William Joyce, Jr. and was predeceased by one step-son CPL Lorne Henry. Charles is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 godchild, Lysa Fletcher of York, SC and his siblings, Anna Miller of Gastonia, N.C., Sandie Primerano of York, SC and Dino Primerano of Virginia Beach, VA; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by one brother Henri Primerano.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th from 2-4 6-8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
