Charles F. Putnam, 67, of Wheatfield, passed away at his residence on December 8, 2020.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Murphy) Putnam.

Chuck graduated with an Associate's Degree from NCCC, which allowed him to be a chemical lab technician.  Chuck was presently employed at 3M for many years, and before that Kodak, and General Mills; he was ready to retire.  He was always a diligent hard worker with an excellent work ethic.

Out of work, Chuck was a family man, there was nothing he enjoyed more than Bills football Sunday with his children and grandchildren, spent laughing, eating, and making memories. Chuck had an extraordinary gift of uplifting every room he walked in, he could put a smile on your face within one minute of arriving, no matter the circumstance. Chuck enjoyed simple things in life, such as taking a long drive with his loved ones, a Tim Hortons Coffee, fishing, or randomly pulling balloons out of his pocket for his grandchildren; he adored his family, especially his grandchildren.

Chuck would want us to celebrate him, he would want us to share memories of funny stories, happy moments, love, and all of the wonderful lessons he taught us. The world is simply more beautiful because he has impacted so many; his kind eyes, goofy grin, contagious personality and big love lives within each of us. The world has lost the most incredible Father, Papa, Friend, Brother, and Man, but for him, we are thankful.

Charles is survived by his children, Megan (Charles) Alaimo, Joseph Putnam (fiancée Jenna Suffoletto), Charles Putnam and Chelsea Elledge; his stepson, Charles Elledge; his grandchildren, Lucas, Zoe, Lilly, Aiden, Logan and Wyatt; his siblings, Carol (Dale) Rossi, Jan (Doug) Fitzgerald, Mary Jo Whitehead, and Michael (Kate) Putnam, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
