Charles "Charlie" Sanfilippo, 85, of Wheatfield, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Thursday November 17, 2011 at his residence, surrounded by his family, and while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Baio) Sanfilippo.

Charlie was employed through Opportunities Unlimited in Niagara Falls, NY and had worked various jobs at their site. He enjoyed collecting model cars and playing cards.

Charlie is survived by his sister Anne M. (Salvatore J.) Coniglio, Sr. of Niagara Falls, NY; a niece Nancy Jo (Victor) Talarico of Lewiston, NY; a nephew Salvatore J. Coniglio, Jr. of Encino, CA; great-nieces and great-nephews Nicholas, Nicole, Natalie Talarico, and Samuel A. Coniglio; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Annie Sanfilippo.

There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services and interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, were held at the convenience of the family.
