Charles F. Traina, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 18, 2022 at Elderwood at Lockport in Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James and Rosemary (Congi) Traina.

Chuck graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  He was employed with Laborer's Local 91, where he worked as a laborer for 55 years.  Chuck enjoyed to bowl in various local leagues, and also liked to go fishing and spend time at the Casino.  He will be remembered for his jokes and sense humor, which brought joy to all whom he encountered.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Terri (Frank) Higgins; his grandchildren, Ryan Ginty and Breanne (Jeff) Luskin; his great-grandchildren, Ariana, Kennedy, Morgan, Henry, and Nora; one great-great child Reagan, as well as by a niece, a nephew and several cousins.  He was predeceased by his former wife, the late Charlotte (Watkins) Traina Swendsen, and his siblings, James Traina, Ronald Traina, and Prudence Kuhn.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24 from 3 – 6 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
